NMW - About New Music West:

NMW has been Western Canada's largest and most influential emerging artist showcase and industry conference for the past two decades and is now heading to 'Canada's Festival City', Edmonton, Alberta.

Artists can submit to play one of Western Canada's most important live music showcases. The festival is back for 2011, and as always, is a huge opportunity for emerging new artists and bands to showcase their talents and gain exposure to new fans, industry and radio.

An industry conference is open to everyone interested in learning about the music industry, especially the bands. This year, for the first time ever, the festival will be held at multiple venues in Edmonton, Alberta. NewMusicWest 2011 takes place July 21-23.
